Being a member of the Portland Petanque Club means you share an interest in a sport popular in the nearly 40 clubs in this country and throughout the world.

The Portland club has an active membership, schedules frequent tournaments, plays casually twice a week, year around, and seeks new players to join in our activities. A number of our players travel to out of town tournaments finding it improves their game and lets them make many new acquaintances.

Having a player's license issued by the FPUSA often makes it easier to get into a game with the locals in whatever country you happen to be.

If you decide to become a member, we'll need three things, an application, a signed sport liability waiver(available at the clubhouse), and a low resolution jpeg photo (head and shoulders, no hats or sunglasses) that we can take when you come to play.
